Give it to me Raw

What's so great about being raw?

They ask me...

Hot glowy skin, confidence, euphoria... =) I feel feelings almost daily, that billions of people never feel in their lives. That shit blows my mind!

& yourselves?

What is so great about being raw to you?

i always know EXACTLY what i am getting!

i havent seemed to notice the health benefits everyone is talking about

Serious? you never had a health problem then?

let go. it will come. stop worrying about what health benefits you should be perceiving.

seriously. it's usually one's mindset as well that causes problems, not just what you put in your body.

The energy, clarity, and euphoria. I love how much more sensitive I am to everything. You know life is great when the feeling rain or of wind blowing against your skin turns you on!

audrey, i know EXACTLY what you're talking about. i almost cried at the sight of leaves blowing the other day. cries of joy, of course :)

Haha, glad I'm not alone! Stuff like that happens to me all the time. I get all tingly when it is raining outside and I open all my windows and just sit on my floor to listen and smell. Same thing with all of the late night cricket noises.

There's a cricket in my basement and I don't want you to know what I want to do about it! :) ----tele

The best thing I've noticed is how I handle my kids. They don't drive me crazy anymore. I love being around them and often play with them (like several hours everyday). If their in a bad mood I just let it go, as before I'd get all sulky myself, sometimes even mad. It's so much easier to handle them if I'm in a good mood and also brings them up so bad moods are more seldom seen nowadays.

I also got rid of my asthma, dandruff, eczema and I got more confident.

For me, it is clarity and control. I have been fighting the same 10 or 15 pounds my entire adult life and I have been endlessly vascilating between feeling great about myself and feeling like a failure, embarrassed by my own lack of self control. I have tried nearly every diet and was never quite able to find what worked for me. That is, until I found the raw food lifestyle. I feel healthy, wholesome and natural and it is so incredibly liberating to let my body find its natural weight and not be thinking about dieting (and deprivation) every minute of every day. It is like a huge monkey off my back (in addition to the 10 lbs off my ass!)

This is what my mom recommends too. The thing is I live in a high-rise building in NYC, so I'm definetely not "grounded". The grounding bed technology makes sense, but it doesn't feel natural to me. Has anyone tried it? Did you notice any changes...

Would soaking them help? I've read that nuts in general has alot of anti-nutrients & soaking is always suggested.
