Currently hanging out a friends place near the restaurant and thinking about placing a take out order. I have only had the big moc so far and was just wondering if anyone could recommend another dish to try.
I don't do well with onions or garlic. I was looking at the indian platter or this caribbean chard and coconut noodle dish or maybe a pizza. Not sure if everything would travel as well as the big moc does though.

I just had the Big Moc , sausage pizza and the mexican platter a couple of weeks ago...(my 1st raw food restaurant) I shared and sampled with a friend. It was all VERY GOOD, however the tortillas that came with the platter was the gift that kept on giving!! lol.. I had some for lunch the following day my tummy didn't appreciate it. Next time I will bypass the mexican platter..
I ended up getting the indian platter. basically two chic pea cakes, accompanied with mango chutney and sauce along with this very good cauliflower dish. i really dig cauliflower and really liked this. i'm about to eat the side salad they gave me now.
big moc is def my favorite. next up is the caribbean chard/coconut noodle dish and the sausage pizza.
i got a veggie burger from jubbs once which was cool but haven't stopped by that many times.
charles, i agree about the salads. i usually like to try some interesting gourmet dish that I couldn't make when ordering out.
never had the big moc. had the meatball dish when that was available and wasn't a huge fan.
i'd recommend jubbs as a take out spot in that area. just prepare to wait like 30 mins for the food, so when it only takes 20 you are happy. it's good though.
there are so many places in the east village...it's great.
so i finally had this big moc that i kept on hearing about. it was surprisingly good. one of the better burgers that i've had and didn't taste like mashed mush.
had the coconut something or other soup, which was very good as well and the banana split sundae for dessert. thought that was ok. after hearing a lot of hype around the chia seed pudding was most interested in that and it was ok, but def gave me some ideas on making my own stuff.
anyone else notice that the quintessence site's been hacked or something?
Yeah I did notice that when u go it has this big"AttackSite" thing going on. It's been there awhile because I had been checking it out a few weeks ago to go there and it was already coming up.
But I'll go with the recommendations from u guys...looks like Big Moc it is.
i probably should've mentioned this when i was there this past weekend. does anyone know someone that works there? are they aware of this? can't be good for b'ness.

I like to do fasts as well and I think the power in fasting is that its a remedial action, one part of the process of purifiying. For instance if you feel you have a lot of non-virtuous residue or spiritual obstacles to remove, you generate regret...
Loren,
Was your fast that regained your health a supervised one, and with whom? How long was your fast? What did you eat like before that?
Do you mind me asking what health challenges you were experiencing?

don't agree with the whole raw food creating a damp environment thing because of the wildly different effects of different raw foods. i've found candida to respond to 100% raw, several different approaches.
