So far I've banned 4 accounts from this network to date. In the spirit of transparency I will be posting the defunct user names of people that I've banned and why I chose to ban them.
p.s. I didn't keep a record of the first 3, but I'll be sure to share the latest.
Details: Just about 2 minutes ago Nirav informed me of a user named "Brother Sage" who had been spamming users with his product promotion (he got the tip from a keen GI2MR user who was concerned).
Normally I would give people a warning before I kicked them off, but in this case he had spammed so many people (on wall of user profiles) that I had no other alternative than to remove his account.
The funny thing is, his product sound quite interesting. It was a raw organic drink that I would have even thought about posting on www.welikeitraw.com. Which would have given him 10x the traffic he would have gotten from spamming people. But because he chose to take the un-ethical route, now I wouldn't even bother.
I'd like to thank the user who tipped Nirav off to the violation. I'll keep his name private, because that's how we roll, but mad props for looking out for the welfare of this community.
Details: durianrider is instigating fights in the raw meat group. I've emailed him and said I'd let him back in if he explains his situation and relaxes on forcing his ideas on people.
As mentioned, I removed Durianrider from the site do to his actions in the raw meat group and fibro group. He is a great and contributing member, but I don't want anyone here who's goal is to spread the "truth" by picking a fight.
Also, as mentioned, I emailed Durianrider personally to talk about the situation (as I always do), and asked him to be a little more respectful of the other groups or just leave them alone.
We've had an email exchange and Durianrider has agreed to stay clear of certain groups.
We'll be removing the ban later today. He obviously has a lot of friends and is a very knowledgeable person. I want him to be here and share as long as he understands where I'm coming from.
I don't compare cases. I just look at them all one by one. If you are having challenges with other members, you can always email me at dhrumil [at] welikeitraw [dot] com
Details: Personal attacks on another member about some unconscious nonsense. Transcript.
This is a place of support. Members don't need to be dealing with this type of unconsciousness.
I love how the most ego identified folks use anonymity to post their feelings. If you really feel that strongly user your real name and photo. Why hide? (of course I know why, but more on that later).
I am Dhrumil and I stick behind everything I say in person and online. You may not agree, but at least you know I'm not hiding.
Yeah- he kept sending me strange, rude messages on myspace, and when I didn't reply, he got even more rude, so I blocked him. I never engaged in any back and forth with him.
I thought it was strange that he even sent me messages on myspace, rather than here, but maybe it was so I couldn't forward them or complain about his behavior here (since it happened on another site).
they gossip about which teams are going to trade or sign star players. Most of it is bullshit. They just create rumors to sell papers / get hits. Still I eat it up.
Hi agree with Erin, everything she suggested is very similiar to wha ti have found.
I am also seeing an accupuncturist and realize that we actually need cooked foods in our diet to support the spleen.
Healing with whole foods is a great start..
I've been doing some "research" on ear candling, and have found three different reports:
1) it's great, feels great, and really helps to clear out the sinuses/lymphs
2) it feels great, but that's just the warmth and it doesn't actually do anything...
Because we believe we are dying. Fact is there is no such thing as "natural causes" or "dying of old age" death is always the result of sickness and disease, of which, all are preventable.
I choose to not buy into the 'I am dying' thing, it's the...
I'm feeling deprived; I might have been a little too...early for these books. Sounds like they might be worth checking out though as I love a good children's book. Probably the right emotional level for me...
