we should all write to them with links and stories about the reality of raw food!! how it's cured cancer, type 2 diabetes, ms, chronic fatigue, ect, ect...
tell them that they are holding back information that could be saving lives, rather than hiding truths and keeping people sick.
it just shows you that raw food is getting big.
the pharmaceutical companies are getting scared. remember the fortune 500? the wealthiest corporations/and/or individuals on earth? the 10 pharmaceutical companies combined make BILLIONS more than the other 490 COMBINED! crazy eh?
raw food is posing a threat, as it cures without making anyone any money.

I am going to play it safe on this one, and caution everyone to be very, very careful with "email blasts" to major media outlets that are intent on informing people of diseases that can be cured via raw food. I will even be so bold to state that raw food is not the magic bullet, but instead a large piece of a puzzle of lifestyle changes that allow the body to heal itself from within. Sensationalism will do very little to help our cause, expecially if our story runs as a 30 second sound byte on a mass media outlet.
The main problem with writing something as simple as "raw food cures X, Y, and Z" is that 10 different people will have 10 different ways to do this, and 10 different reasons why. The only thing it will create is a mass ball of confusion, and will simply fuel the Pharm/Agri/Gov triangle to silence our voices more.
I believe we are much more effective holding raw potlucks, lectures on the science of raw foods, and book discussions with groups of 10-15 people in our homes on a monthly basis, rather than writing letters to these clowns above. Then those 10-15 people may feel inspired to do the same, and so forth.
Be careful on how you approach raw food and illness to a broad audience that just doesn't "get it". The fascists are waiting to pounce on you for saying these things, and even may have their good buddies in the state political circles require "licenses" to even speak of such things to people.

Hey, I just wanted to point out that the show was actually highlighting people with orthorexia (an obsession with healthy eating). They talked about raw food because raw food is seen by some as an unhealthy trend- although we all know, it's not. They were trying to show extremists who take it too far.

Personally, I am very sad that they tried to portrait Viktoras Kulvinskas as an old, crazy guy. He is a brilliant person and has done a lot for the community and yet the host attached him with all those stupid accusations. Very sad, indeed, that they picked the worst case scenarios and showed them as "representatives" of the raw food movement.
This show is about eating disorders, NOT the raw food diet; the guy they profile is all over the YouTube and he's got serious issues - connecting him with the raw food movement is just another big media propaganda.
