Give it to me Raw

I'm moving to Deutschland early next year. I have so many questions on where to find what, and which things are the most available...So instead, I think if any European from a nearby country has time, I would like it if they write how and where they shop, what they buy, and their adverage week or two, etc. I suppose that food/eating was the least of my worries when planning, and I really don't have any idea what I'll do about it when I get there. I think I would deal with it, it's just that I want an assurance and any possible hints. :)
Also links to sites that are in Europe and ship to Germany, would be nice. Preferably for a reasonable price.

europe is great for organic food.. and especially germany has lots of places to eat veg.. i live in spain and got to go to the farmers market once a week... the fruits and vegs are much much cheaper and Organic!

I'm so happy when i get in those market, it's like a child with in a candy land (or something like that)

don't worry, germany is good with the raw foodists ;)

lot's of love love love,

I know Germany is better about Organic and herbal medicine than some places. :)
I suppose I am worrying about alot of things unnessecarily, but I prefer to have a vague plan set up. In Berlin I know I could get by somehow, it is a very large city, and there would always be a way..but where I live all depends on my employer.
Things are done differently, and I'm nervous. Americans give off a bad impression as it is. I don't want to end up in a smaller village and come to find out there are no raw seeds or nuts, or that 90% of the vegetables sold, I have never eaten raw or even cooked before in my life (This is a worst case scenario exaggerating my worry because I think & hope it will be actually be easier being raw in DE and Europe ;). Those are things I suppose that will have to come with experience. I just do not want to come off as ignorant, and feel upset because I can not figure out wether the white asparagus they love (or any other foriegn vegetable) is edible raw, etc. I suppose I am being silly.
BUT, I'd still love any other replies to this. It'd put me at ease knowing what is available, etc. etc.

If you end up in a small village in Germany, you can always order with orkos.com.
The have all kinds of raw nuts, seeds fruit and veg. And normally much higher quality than healthfood stores. I don't consider nuts in healthfood stores raw.
I live in a small town in Germany, an hour away from munich.
When you've arrived, just ask again, I tell you how everything works....

Thank you very much. :)

Just to clarify, I am immensely happy to be going to Germany. And actually Small Villages are dreamy...I just meant that I don't want to find myself in a small village with no plan or understanding when it comes to food. :)

You'd nearly be right about America. :P
My main concern with Germany is probably just the odd fruit or vegetable I have not seen before, and I wondred about the seeds/nuts etc., but you and Didi helped with site links (thank you, the site you gave sells black sesame! I was worried I'd miss it :D ). And I guess I am just worrying. I like to know everything before It is possible to know things. So this question I asked was sort of silly. What I need to know to feel relaxed about it, is probably only what I can learn from being there. I just hate not having a plan. I like to know EVERYTHING. lol I have looked up many many articles on non-raw shopping for biologisch, stores and what they sell, and things. I can't know EXACTLY how I will do it though, until I get there. I worry too much, but I prefer to be prepared ahead of time. :)

So excuse me and my silliness.
Thank you again, and I will be asking you things in the future, for certain. :)

Hopefully north-east. :) I am always nosey :P...my job is not going to be something alot of people look up to or anything, it won't pay well, but that isn't why I am doing it. :) In fact, I don't know that I'd like a job that people look up to or that makes alot of money. But I don't want to get shit about it either.

I'm living in a smaller town in Germany and not having any trouble at all. There is a farmer's market downtown 2xs a week and plenty of BIO stuff available at the local grocery stores. I just have to go online to get my specialty raw foods.

I'm sure you'll do just fine. The Germans take their health and food very seriously so there are plenty of great raw options.

Thank you to everyone who has replied. :) It's been very helpful.

I saw some photos inside of a German supermarket today, and that seemed to calm me. haha silly I know. I guess I could just picture everything working out better. I'd even seen photos before, and they don't look too different than here, but for some reason it helped. I suppose the closer it gets to being time to go (though it's still some months away), the more I worry.

I would also recommend Keimling, they have very high quality dried raw food products, their olives are to be recommended.

And a little plug for my company, Funky Raw, we're based in the UK but will ship to Germany and have very good prices...

im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.

I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....

The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while, also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.
