After reading this last post I have no problem saying that I was the person with the DVD for sale, and it was in my personal blog area. I did not post this on anyones personal pages or through any comments section. I do not see this as harmful in any way, shape or form. I mean isn't part of this sharing tools that we can learn from?
If this is a problem I would be happy to take it down, but like you mentioned, everyone has links to their own sites and 25% of the people sell something or have some sort of affiliate kickback if you buy something through their site.

Here is the GI2MR manifesto.

1) Don't spam: that means unsolicited promotion of a product or idea repeatedly on other peoples pages

2) Don't be mean: Anyone can comment on anything as long as they don't name call or act a fool

3) You own your content: If you create a blog post, discussion or photo - then you have the right to delete or keep any comments that people post on there. That's up to you as a content owner.

Philip has the right to post anything he wants on his blog.
Raw honey has the right to comment
and Philip has the right to delete the comment as the content owner

If Raw Honey wants to start a blog about her thoughts thats fine too. Or post in this discussion.

Philip is my homeboy so I know he didn't have any ill will if he removed your comment. That was just his choice.

But thanks for opening up and asking Raw Honey.

Was there something wrong with my reply?

I can't stop anyone from this site (nor would I want to) from deleting comments form their own blog posts. 1) I don't want to enforce that and 2) I can't technologically enforce that. The creator of the content reserves the right to do what they wish with the content as long as they are not breaking any of the rules above.

But, please know, if you have something to say obviously you are free to here (which is what you're doing) and you can make your own blog post about it too.
