yea wow, pretty crazy. what amazes me though is that animals are treated this way everyday and no one cares. we just buy our packaged meat from the store and like to pretend like it came from a nice farm where the cows are all treated fairly and with kindness. when in reality they are treated more like how this man was on this bus. it sounds extreme, but think about it...just because animals don't express their feelings the same way doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated as sacred beings of this earth. humans are no more important than any other part of this world.

Lauren, I read about this 2 days ago and can't get it out of my mind. It's just so incomprehensible to me. Like you, I kept asking "why"; I can't wrap my head around it. My heart breaks for the victim and his family. And yes, I think it was good that you brought this up. We need to be able to express and share our feelings about such terrible events. Otherwise, we just feel so alone with those feelings and don't know where to go with them. Very, very sad and utterly inexplicable.
