Give it to me Raw

at 12am midnight (on wednesday, july 30th), our 2-year-old weimaraner pup developed bloat, which is a genetic condition which large dogs can develop in an instant, and pass away very rapidly. We recognized the symptoms, and rushed him into the medical clinic. They prepped him for surgery and put him on a morphine drip. They then informed us, that we would have to put down almost $4,000 RIGHT THEN in order to proceed.

This was the toughest thing we've ever had to do. There was NO WAY that we could get that much money in that little time... how can a life be put down just because the funding isn't there?!? We are so angry, and hurt, and confused right now... He was my running buddy, my confidant, and as a freelance designer, I worked at home with him by my side every single day....

Thank you all in advance for your support...

I've only met him once, but I will say he is one of the happiest -- yet ditsy -- dogs i've ever met. He loved life so much.

This is a complete tragedy.

don't agree with the whole raw food creating a damp environment thing because of the wildly different effects of different raw foods. i've found candida to respond to 100% raw, several different approaches.
