What is everyone's position on drinking booze? What kind? how often? I'm curious. I drink occasionally. I used to binge drink 2to3 times a week up until last month.
i like wine, but its reeeeally rare that i drink it, like once every other month maybe. its kind of a fun social thing, but generally i feel so good that really just dont feel any need for it.
I don't think I've drank anything since the Superbowl. And not because I'm trying to avoid it -- I just have no desire for it anymore. I'd rather pound shots of wheatgrass instead of shots of tequila.
I still drink the occasional glass of wine, but I have noticed that my desire for it has greatly decreased even when it's readily available.
I did have a martini while on vacation last week, and after being 80% raw for over a month let me tell you it went to my head FAST, but my head also cleared fast. I've always been kind of a light wieght, but that even surprised me.

I have the occasional blowout but( maybe 3 times a year). I find I do not get a hangover. An interesting point in The Sunfood Diet Success System " Choose wine over beer. Most wine is raw. Choose organic wine containg no added sulphites" but I also read in 80/10/10 that alcohol kills every cell it comes into contact with. So does anyone know if we replace these dead cells?
I think the main cells alcohol kills are the ones in the brain, which happen to be the only ones in our body that don't get replaced -once they're gone, they're gone.
not that I agree with drinking alcohol.....(it's nothing less than poisen for the body in my opinion) ....but our body does actually generate new neurons (brain cells) throughout our lives - contrary to the popular and long held belief that they don't. Apparently the number of new neurons generated correlates with physical activity (exercise etc) and the rate at which they are integrated into existing neural networks within the brain depends on how much you use/challenge your mind. interesting eh??
I drink white wine. Red wine makes me fell ill the next day. I admit if I had a crappy day with lots of work and stress, wine makes the world look nicer in the evening!
Nice picture and changes! I plan to go on a similar diet at some point, whenever I move out of Vermont and somewhere warmer. Lovin' the posts on your site, keep it up :P.
What the ginger? The ginger is mine unfortunately -_- But I have a tendency to try to get rid of it, and since I absolutely will not touch synthetic hair dyes, I'm stuck with doing it myself with plant dyes - Which is reaaally hard. I usually end ...

I think the color suits you, it looks right. Sometimes when people color their hair it's obvious that it's a dye job and it just looks off. Yours doesn't look off at all. Anyway, it's a lot better than my hair! ;)

Okay, mishap was a bit generous. I decided to dye it, so I bought some indigo (plant dye) and started sectioning off the front bits of my head and putting the dye in, and then as I tried to get further back and farther down, I ran out. So now the ...

Nah, I had a mishap with some indigo I bought to dye my hair darker. It's washing out though, no biggie. Probably why I shouldn't mess around with hair dye, no matter how natural it is.
