This is a post For those of you who have this book. I just recently got this book and love it! I just made the Chocolate banana shake for me and my kids and it was to die for! I also think the 30-second nut milk is ingenius. I wish I had seen a recipe that uses raw nut butters before today. It sure saves a lot of time!
Are there any other recipes in this book that you guys love and are must trys! I tried the spicy peanut coconut noodles already and that was fabulous as well!

Now if I only had someone to share them with. It sucks going though all this work and all the SAD people in my family turning their noses up at it! I really wish sometimes I had a raw friend that lived close that I could invite over.
My husband does the same exact thing. He never wants to try anything I make unless it is a raw juice or smoothie. I did get him to drink green smoothies though but I have to go real light on the spinach in his and then add more after I take his drink out of the blender.
I have to admit though that when I first went raw and was experimenting with new recipes He did try a few bad raw recipes so now he is not interested in anything.
i made the candied walnuts and have been eating them out of the dehydrator like mad! they taste like the best cinnamon buns EVER - everything good about the bun just without the bun part? sure!
They are my favorites! Matthew Kenney also has another book. And I am addicted to Pure Food & Wine and Pure Juice & Take-Away, both of which are totally right on my walk to the subway (unfortunately for my wallet!!)
My favorite recipe out of the book (and for that matter, of all time) is the Spicy Thai Wraps. It's so spicy, sweet, salty, tangy, nutty! I'd make it more, but raw almond butter is so expensive!
I ordered my book through Amazon.com and saved money. I was going to go to borders to get it but it was $10.00 more and I got free shipping when I ordered a couple books
I saw this book randomly in Barnes and Noble, bought it on Amazon and was almost instantly at least 50% raw. Now i'm working my way up to 60, 70, etc..
But this book started it all, all the recipes are so fantastic, any other book has a lot to live up to, I hope you enjoy it!
I don't think this exists for humans yet, unfortunately - but what I think would be the healthiest mattress (and virtually free of dust-mites, even bed-bugs which inflict some homes recently) for humans would be the same as the healthiest for pets...
