Curious as to other women's experience with their menses after having been raw for a while. I have been like 95%+ raw for 4 months and each month my period gets shorter. This month it was just 2 days.
I'd like to see that information too. I'm new to the site though and can't work out how to message you! If anyone could explain how I do this, that would be great. Thank you!
First month it was super light and short, next month I barely spotted, this month it never came :)
Zero cramping (and I used to cramp BAD) since I went raw in April.
Apparantly, if you don't eat nuts and seeds, you can stop bleeding. I'm over 6 years raw and still get a normal period (as in lasting 3 days then tapering off). Sometimes, it takes me by surprise if i forget it's coming. Interesting thought to not have periods. There have been times early raw when I lost alot of weight and they disappeared.
I've noticed, over the years, that if I have alcohol too close to my period, I have the most excruciating cramps. I've only been raw about 3 months, so it's too early for me to know how my periods will be down the road, but they have been less painful.
I'm one of those people who has always had cramps, no matter how I've eaten (although certain foods make them worse)- I think it has to do with having a retroverted uterus. This impedes pelvic circulation, in general, and I think it contributes.
Which brings me onto 'what age would natural healthy women stop being able to have children' In tribes, the girl gets married around 13 or 14 because she is able to conceive, having started her period.
What would the average age for giving birth be in a society where all the women were healthy and eating naturally? I'm pretty sure their fertility would go on long after 40 or even 50, maybe up to 70? Of course, the lifespan would also have to have increased to coincide with child rearing.
Yeah, my name is Sarah, from the Bible, so who know, maybe I'll follow in her footsteps after being raw...lol. (Kidding, I'll have kids in a few years... unless God wills otherwise!)
same here...2 month raw and no cramping no pain and 3 days from 5 fer me...I use to have the worse pain, bloating and cramps...no more..so far...whooot!!! i've said gbye to midol..haha...
I have been raw a little over a year and a half and and haven't really noticed any significant changes as far as time goes. I still have periods that last 4-5 days. I eat 95% raw too and up to this date still eat lots of nuts, and fats. So maybe it is the lack of fats in ones' diet that affect this?
i like my own smell,i get told i smell nice even if i dont wear any essential oils etc...i have been told that my saliva tastes sweet ,i dunno...
im with Charles, hey my shit doesnt stink right,he he he laughs!
I dont smell like fruit, but since getting all the processed foods out of my diet I find I hardly need deoderant. Theres definitely a noticeable improvement.
What are people supposed to smell like? In nature, animals smell musky.
