It varies but I can tell you what I had today.
Breakfast: 4 lb mamey
Lunch: banana celery smoothie (8 bananas, 1 bunch celery)
Dinner: 5 bananas, 1 small mango
I don't usually eat quite this much (maybe a few less bananas) but I biked 40 miles today.
And I usually include more greens at dinner but I am out ATM.

Mamey is a sweeter, juicier, football shaped version of the sweet potato and my second favourite food.

i had this for the first time this summer...omg my taste buds went crazy. i tried it while I was in Dominican Rep. for a week I had then for breakfast all the time...yummmmyyyy! i wish someone could tell me where I could find these in the states (NY). I haven't found them..

I use the tried and true eenie-meenie-minee-mo method. Hasn't failed me yet :)
Don't worry about a knife. Once you find the seam, it opens right up.
This one was frozen, and though it was delicious, I am abstaining from the fatty fruit til I go to Costa or HI.

It has the texture of a papaya; not at all starchy. It's a sweet fruit that tastes (to me) like a sweet potato.

Oh dear lord, this is my FAVOURITE FRUIT! But I can't get a hold of it where I live. :( It's like a cross between an avocado and a sweet potato. This and Rollinia are the ultimate in food.
