I need some raw support, besided my husband. Everyone seems to be a critic of my eating habits, and I'm going nuts. Going against the world's current is definitely not for the faint of hear! Anyway, if anyone is interested in a new friendship, let me know. I could use it! :)
Hi Sarah,
I'm new here too. I am in England but hey we can be friends. I just started this raw quest four days ago and am feeling loads better for it already! I am curiousto see how it all affects so many things. I haven't told too many people about my new regime. I expect some criticism but I hope people will just live and let live. I can empathise with how you feel. I was wondering, are you hoping to cut out all caffeine and alcohol too? Or perhaps you already have....I think I will. Although I'm not sure about relinquishing me morning cup of tea! Love,
Alice x
ugh...yes, expect criticism...even from close friends. this has been happening to me lately to the point where i don't consider them close friends anymore! if they can't be happy and supportive of me for doing something i believe in, then they aren't real friends anyway!
Thanks everyone... I'm excited to start new relationships, even if they are online! I am near Dallas, by the way. And, yes, completely cutting out everything un-raw, including spices, salt, etc... I already have been raw, but have had a bad time the past 3 weeks...long story. Anyway, I am about to drink my last alcoholic beverage, and I just ate my last cooked meal. Here comes real life. :)
Hi Sarah! My name's Tawni, and I live in Harker Heights, Texas. I understand how you feel about everyone criticizing your eating habits...don't worry, it won't last. Keep up living the way you desire, and everyone will learn to accept it. It will become a permanent part of you, and eventually the remarks and criticism will not bother you anymore.
I'll be one of your online friends. I live in a small town that has two hunting and fishing channels and took off the Tour de France on cable :( Plus no Whole Foods but at least there's a GNC!
women wants to re-make them just like if they were their own babies, and yet they want them to act grown up like a "real" man father and all that stuff. doomed to fail each time
Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.
