Hey everyone I am just wondering, what percent raw do you eat? If your 99-100% how did you get there? How did you fight the call of cheese, dough and meat and stay that way which seems to be my trouble...

I am 100% raw, but didn't start out this way a few years ago. When I began my journey, I would fluctuate between 60% and 80% raw but could never make that "jump" to all raw and living plant based foods.
I was still drinking caffeine (coffee, tea, chai, chocolate), occasionally wine, and even sometimes succumbed to the "fast food" fix. I was also eating a large quantity of sweet fruit. It seems to me that it was these factors (personally and only in MY case, everyone is different), that kept the cravings for junk food and cooked food alive. Several months ago I finally got fed up with the "yo-yo" of on-off raw eating. Sick and tired of being sick and tired, I made the commitment and dove into the "deep end" of eating 100% raw and living plant based foods. The cravings went "poof!" and the yo-yo finally broke its string. In my case, I now eat a low glycemic diet, easy on the fruit and heavy on the greens.
Dr. Gabriel Cousens' book "Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine" is my daily reference.
There is a HUGE difference in the way that I feel (energy levels, quality of sleep, clearness of complexion, etc...) between being 60-80% and 100% raw and living foods vegan.
I know that some people may differ from this, and I say whatever works for you is fine by me. This just happens to work for me.
