Hi there all would really love any imput/advice if anyone knows how to reverse osteoporosis eating raw? As I have just got my bone scan test back and I am still in the osteo box. The doc wants me to go on meds but I am so dead against doing so, as read so many side effects etc. I am so gutted I'm little confused as to what to do.
So I would be very greatful for any help, I am only 30 by the way, it was brought about through 10 years of eating disorders.
Hi Erin it is the second scan that I have had both said osteo, I was just in the red box, but I will delve into it futher & check out the book.
I did have a rebounder but it played up my hips, catch 22 for me!
I think more hydration will also help, Iunderstand what you mean about volume with foods, and worry about losing more weight, I agree with eating lots of silica rich foods, so I would do a greensmoothie if you can and also add a green powder ie pure synergy or vitamineral green in the uk it is called nature's living superfood by kiki, as it has many juices and sea vegetables and nutrients in it, add lots of flax oil for calories, or flax/hempoilblend. nature's first food has horse tail for silica in although I'm not sure the silica is easily absorbed which is why I say take an organic silica supplement but I would do the first thing first anyway, magnesium oil will also help remineralise bones and has remineralised teeth.
don't worry about the weight, Ipromise that the green smoothie with flax oil will get your bowel moving better cut down the other things, if you really feel it doesn't help after a couple of weeks then we can look at why.
The point someone made about lighter weight people and bone scans is interesting I've heard this before . I'm verylight in weight too but am very small framed.
I appreciate you don't feel soaked flax seed will help so will leave that for now.
more hydration will help, when you digestion starts repairing and working properly again you will put on weight and be able tocope with the other foods calls to you, probiotics may also help intestinal function, but the green smoothies are the most improtant thing as they have probiotics in them too, do what calls to you
Thank you again Jane, I do drink two litres of water a day including herbal teas ie nettle. I will look into rearranging my diet.
The suppliments I take at prescent a Kordels bone formular, high nature 1000mg vit c with rosehip, cytoplan probiotics, dong quai, well woman multi vit, higher nature digest aid, & just started today higher nature MSM powder,
The greens powders I am using at the mo are utopia valley, wheatgrass powder & spiralina. I will look up the ones you surgested, I need to use the one I have at mo, skint.
I just rang hospital about my results they said my spine is the same as two years ago, but the virtibray is slightly up & down, but it is in my femmers a decrease, god I realy want to fix this!
You can repair it, just stick with it, it will take time though, you probably need the support of someone to keep you going< I would say something like a nutritionist, but most of them don't really know what they are talking about . I'm not sure if you are vegan or not, if not the cod liver oil I reccommend is blue ice, as you can get a fermented cold pressed one.
Good digestive enzymes may help you too, as you feel discomfort with eating I hope I haven't over whelmed you here but just giving you some more options

im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.
I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....
The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while,also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.

my breathing capacity is great, and thats the only thing good.
things that have actually worked for me:
Valerian root for tea - very calming...
Lemon juice, sliced lemon peel, lemon grass or lemon verbina, raw honey, star anise (optional), maybe some ginger, hot water (let it all infuse together for a while) ...
oh yeah there were like 3 judges who really eager to find mistakes in my asanas and other yoga practices that they asked me to perform :)
But i am lucky hahahaha
