Want to cut waaay down of fat, my bod is so inefficient in processing that and protein. After a recent 64 day juice feast I packed on weight adding "normal" amounts of fat back in (avo, hemp, tahini, coconut, no nuts) Now eating late is keeping that fat on me. I don't know how to resolve it after leaving work at 4 to go hiking and coming home hungry after shower it's 7 pm and I need a snack. I have a hard time eating more during the day. Green smoothies make me full, but ware off after rigorous exc.
Thanks Harley. Yeah, its been a week, im still wobbling around. I know. Will refine it!
Do I have combo-abombos up there? It's not all mono yet, yeah.
Im not popping any pills though. The enzymes and MSM have almost totally healed a really painful broken toe that has been throbbing enough to make me cry every day for the last 5 years. It doenst hurt anymore, but still a little inflamed.

I try to be sure to drink a large quantity of water at specific points in my day, but I also drink in between.
doing 80/10/10. i find it hard to get the recommended level of greens, anyone have any tips?
today i had:
1/2 watermelon
1.5 lbs cherries
5 bananas
i know, i know, it is nowhere NEAR enough calories. but i'm just not hungry! i don't want to just stuff food in there, as i've had compulsive eating habits in the past and don't want to revisit them. i'm just taking it slow and adding a little bit more each day as my hunger (and stomach) grow
I remember having the same challenge.
The thing that really helped me was to make sure I got enough activity during the day. Getting my heart rate up for 1/2 - 1hr helped me eat more.
Even if you get a handful of greens to start out it's better than none. If you need to blend some in with your bananas you could do that too.
Keep up the good work. Increasing a little bit each day is great.

I'm just starting out but here is what I've eatten on a good day, lol!
Breakfast: Green Smoothie (my fav so far is lots of KALE with banana and strawberrie or apple, coconut water and two dates) I'm not always hungry in the morning though and sometimes I work out in the morning so I don't eat this if I don't eat this I just have a nice piece of fresh fruit like a banana or apple instead and lots of water.
Snack: If I need a snack it's fresh fruit or chopped veggies
Lunch: Salad with mixed greens or chopped veggies in a wrap, or raw nori rolls
Dinner: A banana nut smoothie if I've been low on calories and fat, or a meal close to what my lunch choices are.
For some reason I like to do fruits in the mornings and veggies at night!
I love making wraps out of nori or greens!
I have a small dehydrator but I'm afraid to use it, lol, I bought it used and it doesn't have directions, lol.
Morning: huge green smoothie with kale/spinach/berries/bananas/e3 live/cacao if i feel tired Lunch: huge fruit salad with whatever's around: berries, bananas, apples, etc. OR green salad with hemp seeds/white sesame seeds, tomatoes, veggies, Udo's Oil and raw cider vinegar Dinner: fruit salad or humungo green salad with a head of lettuce, a few tomatoes, various other veggies too, or if I'm in the mood for something more challenging a zucchini pasta or a green soup.
Throughout the day i might have some nuts. If I feel brave, I might make something from a recipe book.
That's hilareous. My husband looks at the sun to make himself sneeze. There's some weird phenomena that 10% of the population has that looking at the sun makes them sneeze.
being connected nope not a coincidence...raw opens up our chakras and there you have it,wham it hits you in the face sometimes Chris, its intense but intensely exciting...

Hi Loren. Dillon is 6 years old, very skinny and eats like a horse, I have noted in the past that when he has had a virus and been suffering from fever and lack of appetite that his autism is less severe.
celery is hugely important in my diet,as i dont add salt to anything..when i do have the occasional piece of sunbread or raw chocolate which contains salt,i reallllly feel it quite negatively....
great advice Loren :)
Great points RG you're right, one size dosent fit all. For me it was purely a health thing to start, but then as you so well described it, the layers started peeling back. It really took me by surprise, was very unexpected, which is why I now just...
Hi Nicole,
How old is your son? As far as diet, I would be giving him plenty of fruit, and plenty of simple salads, including lots of tomatoes and perhaps some celery as both are high in sodium.
But as I understand it, salt cravings are usually ...
Hi Loren. Thanks for that info. I often hear Naturopaths comment on how children with autism are often lacking in sodium and reccomend increasing their salt intake. I have a son on the autism spectrum and he craves salt. He drinks green smoothies ...
