So my parents made me read this article in a news paper. It was about a family on a raw vegan diet, and the chicks kids had gotten holes in their teeth and were stick thin...and they all craved dairy.
So it looks like raw made them ill.
They ate loads of fruit, veg and seeds and took b12 and d supplements, yet they were sick....
I can't find an expination for my parents, I can't even find one to give to myself...
Wow, I'm so mad about this, great idea about writing in Chris, I am off to do that. Please join me! I really think people need to know about how amazing raw food is, we should be getting this out to as many people as possible.
Empirical science involves carefully designed and controlled experiments where environmental measurements are taken before and after the phenomena are observed, and then the 2 sets of data objectively analysed.
The lack of precision and objectivity of our lifestyle experiences, and the conclusions we draw, mean they have nothing to do with empirical science.
The pseudo-scientific claims you make are probably one of the reasons you have received so much criticism.

life is a complex affair
since when has the science of this world given people the happy lives they deserve.
experience is what counts
if what you are after is a ice experience
if you just want to prove your point then it's somehthing else
i have never seen healthy looking 100% raw vegan children
i don't think your are all raw are they - or have i got that wrong?
Rawzi just seen you profile
you look great - as does Buddhababy
that speaks volumes to me
iwhat we dodepends what we are trying to achieve i guess - satisfy dogma or feel great and enjoy our lives....
I actually deliberatley kept the story about me and refused to expose the problems other people i know have had. Those very same people have now attacked me publically and privately. Can you see the hypocrisy? I just kept it to relating my own experience ad refused to make general statements about raw veganism and even that should not allowed according to some fo the people in this forum. What about freedom of speech?
I have watched raw vegan children being malnourished and not said a word....i am now beginning to wonder whether that is the right thing and reservations about losing friendships are rapidly disappearing because it seems some of my raw vegan friends cannot even tolerate me saying what happened to me and my chidren. The raw vegan movement covers up what is happening to raw vegan children and personally i think it is awful.
Sorry but all these attacks have had the opposite effect on me than i presume was intended - it's confirmed in my mind the insidiousness of this dogma (understand i have no problem with people being vegan and absolutely do not have any problem with people bringing up their children vegan if it works - and my observation is that cooked veganism seems to be more successful than raw veganism).
It's a very liberating experience actually and i think i will speak out more in future.
Sorry but all these attacks have had the opposite effect on me than i presume was intended - as you lot seem so free to say what you like about me i will feel freer to speak out in the future.
Thanks for posting! I went to the dentist today and was absolutely delighted when I heard the dentist comment to the hygenist, "she has beautiful teeth, doesn't she?"
WOW! Coooool! Haha, all thanks to raw food!!!
Yeah! I have been getting into apples big time, and discovering new ones that I have not tried before like the Honey Crisps! I always like the Gala too great for raw recipes!
Thank you for your positive words everyone. I've been raw for 8 months and it was simply dissappointing to have gone through such a binge! Besides I felt physically awful!
Onward we march from here! lol
