So my parents made me read this article in a news paper. It was about a family on a raw vegan diet, and the chicks kids had gotten holes in their teeth and were stick thin...and they all craved dairy.
So it looks like raw made them ill.
They ate loads of fruit, veg and seeds and took b12 and d supplements, yet they were sick....
I can't find an expination for my parents, I can't even find one to give to myself...
Wow, I'm so mad about this, great idea about writing in Chris, I am off to do that. Please join me! I really think people need to know about how amazing raw food is, we should be getting this out to as many people as possible.
Hard to say if it was raw or not- I can't remember when everything started to be pasteurised- although it is probably true to say that the cattle were differently fed then anyway, the soil was less depleted etc etc. I completely appreciate the value in the notion that humans are the only species who take in 'another mother's' milk- but, at the same time, I am very grateful to those animals who helped alleviate the suffering of children- and yes, i also appreciate that their lives were textured with their own suffering.
come on Karl who are you? put a photo up at least...then we can see that you are a real person...
all the best
PS what's your vested interest as an acolyte to Holly?
Well put! We spend too much time worrying about the choices of others around us when we need to realize that we only have to worry about what goes on in our own journey.
It's so important to stay flexible and open minded. Sometimes the very thing you though didn't fit into your box of what you wanted- whether it be an idea, a religious belief or even a mate, turns out to be what works after all. But you miss these things by being rigid.
You can lose sight of your destination by obsessing too much about each little thing along the way and how you thought things "ought" to be.
I think the main point is that people are so out of touch with their deeper intuition- if they'd just learn to listen to it, they'd know when to admit that something isn't working, and they'd lose the fear of going in a new direction.
that's really funny
thanks for being so kind by the way
i will really go now
my children have made elderflower cordial with figs water and elder flowers

In my opinion, this discussion has lost it's value. Hi El-bo,
You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.
Adrenal fatigue is indicative of overall exhaustion. When the body is already is exhausted and has no real energy left, it calls on the adrenal gland to produce adrenaline. The body doesn't have much of a choice because as we continue to force it ...
if sodium is consumed from natural sources then the body will be able to deal with it naturally...it won't be stored like toxins etc
water retention is the bodies way of diluting toxic matter....it will do this with salt (table. himalayan, sea, m...
