I feel like the domains are twisted. Giveittomeraw sounds better for the blog where people come to get a intellectual fix of some raw knowledge. While Welikeitraw sounds better for a community site of people who like it raw. It maybe too late in the game to switch them up now especially with wlir being sort of like a trademark but on the other hand both sites are linked to each other and it could get more members.
Wow. I think you have a good point there Brooklyn Mark! I have a feeling that it would take a lot of effort to switch those around! I bet with Dhrumil's team it "could" be done, but wow I know how tough a job that would be.
Honestly, JS and I have toyed with the idea of moving our blog away from Blogspot. We'd loose so many people reading our blog, we'd have to transfer everything, we'd loose our ranking in the blog world. Will we ever do it? Perhaps in the future. We know that it would only become more difficult over time. Eventually we will probably bite the bullet and go fully into rawfoodrightnow.com For now, however, it is a domain forwarder to blogspot.
My two cents. I know what you mean. And if Dhru and the gang were to make this place into WeLikeItRaw.com it would be a bold move but I think all of us would love it.
Mark good points! We were even thinking about making it all one URL. So instead of giveittomeraw.com it would be community.welikeitraw.com. But we quickly realized that the community would need its own website.
If I started over today and had to do everything from scratch, I'd do it how you mentioned. We for the community, and Give for the blog. But since that's not happening ; ) .... the next best thing is to just ride what we have and make We Like It Raw more about the "we". Right now its more like Dhrumil likes it raw. But we're working on some reorganizing so that a few more writers come on board.

Once your brand gets momentum the intricacies of the actual domain names don't really matter. If you have momentum, which Dhru obviously does, and you are positioned correctly in the search engines the rest doesn't mean that much. On the surface, to the uneducated, does giveittomeraw, or welikeitraw, really mean anything? Most likely not.
I can't imagine wanting to tinker with either of Dhru's brands, or Heidi's brand. They've been established so well as is, you've both done such a great job, don't mess with it just for the sake of messing with it.
