Give it to me Raw

Hi everyone, I have a question. My 20 year old son moved out of the house, rebelled against all of his mothers health food, is getting no sleep along with ingesting goddess knows what else and now has a lingering case of prostatitis that the doctor is treating with antibiotics. It seems to have been brought on by a urethral stricture that he had fixed last month, but he is really desperate to bring his body back into a healthy state. I have been talking to him about a raw food diet and he has finally (YEA!) started eating alot better. Do any of you have any knowledge, positive or negative about a raw diet and it's effect on the prostate?

Debbie,

Thank you! That is a wonderful story about the man in your class. I will share that one with Alex. Believe it or not, I had that thought too (about all the lovely young women) There is nothing that motivates a 20 year old like a pretty woman! He just broke up with his girlfriend of three years, another part of the equation! He really stopped taking care of himself while he was in the middle of that relationship and that definitely contributed to the problem . She had the worst taste in food. I used to say to him that if they got married, I needed to see my grandchildren at least one weekend out of every month because I was not going to have them growing up thinking that Prego was really food! He is really a darling young man even if it's his mother saying so!

Thank you so much for your response! It's great to meet you!

Thank you Suvine,

He is a gorgeous kid and it's been so hard to see him struggle. I am going to share with him your positive feedback and I know that he will appreciate it. I'd love to get him to join this group, it would be so good for him to feel like he had partners in his new life adventure!
Thanks!
Beth

Thank you Michael,
I couldn't agree with you more! I can count the amount of meds that he's had in his life on one hand. He was homeschooled, so it was easy to help him along. When he reached 18 though he started rebelling against everything he'd been taught. Typical I guess, but now he is paying the price. He is thankfully really willing to take another look though. It's crazy, the amount of influence that peers can have. When he left home, he started abusing drugs and gettting absolutely no sleep. Really reeks havoc on the body. He always gets his lessons fast though, it's his karma. So at this point ,he's pretty scared and I'm glad!
Thank you so much for for your thoughts!

Hi Nicole, We don't need any salt at all, and in fact it's always toxic to the body. Salt is a rock, and no matter how small we smash it, it is an inorganic mineral which our bodies cannot really use. Organic sodium is needed by ever single cell ...
