You were looking for something to take on a bike or hike...I couldn't find the thread...I found the greatest thing today...it is an "eco-friendly corn bottle" that biodegrades...it comes with a built in filter that says you can reuse 90 times to filter tap water...I found it at my local health food market...here is the website on the box:
oops...I am sorry guys...I didn't realize it was in Canada...I live in Alaska and just found them at my store...maybe try writing to the company and see if you can make an order?
I just have to say, I think they are the greatest thing ever, and usually, being in Alaska is more of a hindrance than a help in areas of getting the good stuff...gotta count my blessings today...but yeah, these should be everywhere! Has anyone else found them at a local store? The company makes bath and shower filters as well as water filters for your sink too...and they don't seem that expensive.
I would really like a good metal water bottle for my bike. I've been having trouble finding one that this the exact form factor of a water bottle holder. Does anyone know any good brands/locations for bottles that'll fit a bike? I need metal, because it won't break and they're not heat sensitive (I'll be in the light all day and plastic is known to congeal with water under these circumstances). I intentionally bought a ratcheting plastic water bottle holder so it wouldn't scratch metal bottles, but I can't get one that fits and isn't also extra long. If the bottle is too long it'll hit my bike lock, so I need it to be your typical cycling bottle size, about 20 oz, I believe.
"Fashionista's" simply look at Fashion as an Art, their own bodies as the canvas, and the sense of style they develop along the way is simply the masterpiece.
Yes I have also been known to have eyes bigger then my stomach...
I'm sure that your choice has brought you a lot more attention then you wanted and some attention you never wanted.
Life is just a series of mistakes. It's what we learn from them...
