to be.......or not to be....... NAKED
Eating raw fresh fruits and veggies, is so pure, is so tasteful, and so magical. Could you imagine a life without being able to eat your food raw? This is how I feel about nudity. It is the closest thing I can use to describe how it feels to be so raw, so free. It is pure delight. How do you feel about nudity?

essential! i feel "off" if i dont get my naked time every day. it helps me have a better relationship with my body. aside from being just wonderfully free and comfortable. i cant wait to one day live in the country so i just get up and walk around naked outside. i guess im a bit of an exhibitionist as it is, hahaha. hey, i cant help it if people can see through my window! i should be able to be naked in my own house!!! ;)

yes! I am so there with you. One of my favorite things at burning man, is that i can be naked however much I want! Our camp has around 100 people in it, and they have all gotten use to our section of naked boys and girls running around. :) It feels so good with the sun on your body, and the wind on your skin! MY favorite! Life would be so difficult without being able to be nude! hip hip hooray for you! and for your exhibitionism!

My friends and i do yoga together in the nude. Spiritually, it can be said as this: "Nothing comes in between me and god." In our group we range in ages from early 30's to nearly 70, so there is a wide range of body types.
In my household we don't wear a lot of clothes and, since it's a small house , we keep the temperature in the "tropical "range a lot of the time. In the summer, clothing is optional for working in the garden. Obviously if one is pruning back the berry vines some protection of sensitive areas is a good thing......owie! And swimming, forget the suits, it's skinny dippin' time! Funny though, when we went to Costa Rica last winter we were cautioned to be careful about nudity. It's a Catholic country and the locals get upset by nudity.
From a health standpoint, the Natural Hygienists talk about the health benefits of sun bathing. What I noticed after I became raw was that my fair skin doesn't burn as easily and now tans slightly. I used to go to the dermatologist yearly for those treatments where sunspots on the skin are frozen with liquid nitrogen to remove the so-called pre-cancerous abnormal cells. I haven't been back since going raw, there's not been a need to do so.
From an art standpoint I used to do large format black and white fine art photography and the nude figure, male and female was a challenging and wonderful subject to explore.

and yet another good reason to be raw and nude, I want to be in pictures till I'm 80 if that is ever possible, and having healthy skin is all part of my quest!

We work with mostly people who have never been naked before, it's a beautiful and magical journey to share with somebody. It is such a beautiful process to see a person open up, bloom, and love themselves even more, to be so happy with their bodies, and just being naked! I LOVE it!!!

to me, nudity is more about being in closer contact with the elements, than about anything sexual--not to say that i wouldn't have electric glowing multi-orgasmic one-with-the-cosmos naked sex in an olive grove in monte negro...or on a black sand beach in hawaii...or at my favorite desert hot springs off the pacific crest trail...or...anyways.
what i'm saying is that i LOVE being naked, and (though of course it can be) it's not necessarily a sexual thing, to me. if i am sexually aroused--or looking to be--you're much more likely to find me playing dress-up in any number of fun costumes than being 100% nude.
don't misunderstand--i don't believe one must divorce nudity and sex, like some of the--pretty funny--places my boyfriend and i have run across in our endless search for places where we can go in the sauna TOGETHER and not have to wear bathing suits. (we found one place where they had nude karaoke, it was pretty hysterical--we didn't go back). i just think the somewhat puritanical north american penchant for associating nudity with sex/bad/forbidden/taboo is a little unbalanced, and a lot unhealthy.
when i went to saunas in germany and austria, the men and women went in together, no one wore clothes, and it was a civilized, healthy, elegant affair. the further west one travels towards the united states, the more sleazy and lecherous the vibe becomes, until finally it seems nearly impossible for grown men and women to keep their heads on straight, when presented with opposite sex nudity.
in general, there are two options: 1) nudist colonies where loving committed couples are prohibited from even kissing in public, for fear of being associated with "sleazy sex places", and 2) swinger scenarios where anything and everything goes, the more hedonistic the better (the aforementioned "sleazy sex places"). where is the happy healthy holy medium? one idealistic week a year at burning man? the random festival here and there, transient utopian realities far enough removed from the "real" world that they present no threat to mainstream programming?
i love being naked. i don't love being negatively judged for it. i don't like being bothered with unsavory proposals and i don't like the mainstream consensus that if i am scantily clad, i somehow invited those unsavory proposals and "deserve what i get". when i am naked--or almost naked, as is often the case--it is for my own comfort and benefit, not for the masturbatory pleasure of strange men or some such absurdity (unless i have made it clear that i am attracted to the strange man and am experiencing pleasure myself). i am naked because I love being naked.
i love being naked because through my uncovered skin i make love with the body of the earth. i love the textures of her sand and stones on my naked feet, her wind blowing over my naked skin, her water washing me with no annoying soggy fabric getting in the way. i love to feel her sun on my breasts, especially my nipples--men can relate to that, you lucky guys get to take off your shirt pretty much any time you feel the inclination, without a second thought, without having to deal with any reaction from the general public, be it horror, shock, anger, disapproval, righteous indignation, or horny assumptions of your slutty nature followed by rude invitations or comments from the opposite sex. you can take off your shirts because your chests haven't been fetishized to the point of sick obsession. and i love the sunheat between my legs. love love love it.
i will go a long way to find places where i can lay naked in the sun without getting cited for indecency. i go to these places almost every weekend. if i go for more than two weeks without immersing myself--naked--in natural rivers and hot springs, if i go for even fourteen days without feeling the unblocked light of the sun caressing my ENTIRE body, i start to feel my batteries going dim. it's as if i literally begin to run low on fuel.
my body is a sacred beautiful gift, as is yours, as is everybody's. i honor my body by loving it in the nude. i love and heal and enjoy my body by giving it the gift of frequent nudity. to cover my body, for example, to NOT WEAR a short skirt just because of how i will be perceived, is annoying to me. i am not stupid. when i travel, as i sometimes do, through muslim countries, i do not wear short skirts. but it is annoying to me. when i am on a beach in california where even thongs are prohibited, not to mention god forbid topless sunbathing for women, i don't take off my bikini. but it is annoying to me.
to be or not to be naked?
don't be naked in the health food store, don't be naked in alaska in the winter, don't hike through poison ivy and stinging nettles naked, and you might not want to be naked when meeting your beloved's parents for the first time.
be naked on the beach, be naked in the sun, be naked in your garden, be naked in your living space, be naked in the spa, be naked in the mojave river, be naked in the olive groves in monte negro with your boyfriend!
that's how i feel about nudity. the short version.

After the third or fourth day I seem to function better then when I am eating heavy meals. My last fast I was walking eveyday. I just feel great when I am fasting.
