Namaste Divine beings,
Please can you share with me what your favourite heart opening films are.
Films to bring unfolding of the spirit and soul, ones that have moved you, thought provoking, and/or just plain beautiful.

Still not got to see Baraka, but looks like it's a must see. Thanks Eternal voyageur.
What sort of film is waking life, without giving too much away : ) x
Hi Rue! I recently saw "Conversations with GOD", it touched my soul. One other movie that I thought was cute and inspirational and left me feeling happy was "Enchanted".

Yes! Just watched Conversations with God and it inspired me to get the first book too. It's written in a funny style but I'm getting into it now.
Thanks for the recommendation : ) x
Has anyone seen "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and then again Spring"? It has to be the most beautiful film I have ever seen. It is centered around the house of a buddhist monk - a house on a floating dock in the middle of a pristine lake. Amazing.
My two all time favorites are "Darshan" and "Ostrov".
"Darshan" is a French documentary about Ammachi, India's biggest spiritual leader and one of the most amazing people walking the planet right now. She is an Enlightened Master and what she does in the world is just beyond words. Meeting her in person has changed my life and lives of millions of others forever.
"Ostrov" (The Island) is a Russian film, that is just brilliant. It's about God, spiritual longing, the power of repentance and forgiveness and so much more; very powerful movie. I saw it several times and it blows my mind and heart wide open every time. You can find the DVD on amazon, it has English subtitles. This is a must see movie for anyone. "What is Enlightenment?" magazine published an article about this film a few months back with a very positive review.
My all time favorite and one I have seen several times now is; Brother sun, sister moon. It is such a beautiful and heart opening movie.
What the bleep do we know, The secret, The moses code, The spiritual warrior, Kundun, 10 questions for the Dalai Lama, The last mimsy, Gandhi, Little Buddha, Pay it forvard, Monsieur Ibrahim, The last samurai. Mother Teresa, Hanuman, Seven years in Tibet, Orbs; the veil is lifting a.s.o.
I work in a shop who sells spiritual movies so I have seen a bit of them :-) but thies are my favorites.
On a more serious note: The 11th hour, Devour the earth, The big oil crash, An Inconvenien truth, are great eye opening movies (and motivating ;-)
thanks for all the comments.
