I am wanting to go on a raw retreat in March for Spring Break. Would love one that involves hiking, the beach, or yoga and of course, raw food. Does anyone have any reccomendations?
Hmmmm it depends on where you are and where you want to go. Also your budget as well, there are some great ones in Hawaii, California, Costa Rica and a new one in New Zealand that I am helping to create, you can also always start your own or create one too. I am in Los Angeles so if you want to do one here let me know, there are great Raw Restaurants here, I can make raw food, teach raw classes and Yoga, we can all hike on the beach in Malibu and say hi to the Celebrities some of whom I know, or in the Malibu Mountains, the Hollywood Sign is fun and people like to meet or see Celebrities when they visit LA and these are some of the spots they are at and some are RAW too!:)
For me having fun, being Raw, enjoying life, being spiritual is all one and the same.
Ummm...I don't have any recommendations but this whole concept sounds amazing. Why don't I get spring breaks in the working world again? **Reminds myself that I need to start my own business and control my life**

Hey all, this is really amazing timing, I was just talking with a couple of raw friends (a raw chef, a yoga teacher, an art instructor, master cleanser and masseuse) about putting together a retreat here in sunny Panama for the month of March. It will be super fun, lots to see and do here in the rain forest with the monkeys, the Caribbean ocean, mud baths, raw food, tropical fruit, massage, yoga and sunshine! We could also do it for a more affordable price... let me know if you're interested, and I can get you some more details :)
Beth! Let's do it! I could only come from march 9 or 10-18 because of school, but I would absolutely love this! It sounds great. My roommate from last year is from Panama, funny. Do you think this is a real possibility? Let me know!
Tanya, that retreat sounds great, but it is so expensive to get to Hawaii... more than a thousand. I could get to Panama or California for $400. Thanks though!

We are definitely serious about doing it, we are thinking we could put it together for about $1500 per person per week including lodging, transportation, raw meals, tropical fruits, and daily yoga classes. Spirit airlines is starting to offer service to Panama starting in February, and tickets are around $400 so thats very affordable!
We will also do tours various places around Panama to go hiking in the jungle, swimming at a private beach in the Caribbean (the most beautiful place on earth in my opinion), tours to nearby towns and cities like El Valle where we can go to mud baths and markets, historic Panama City, the canal, etc. also a Spa Day each week with massage and pampering. We were talking about doing it for the whole month of March, and people can come stay for as long as they can. What we might do is a cleanse of some sort for the first week then group fun the rest of the month. We are in the process of setting up a website. Email me for more details! Beth@getfreshpanama.com.
Hi everyone, it's very simple: 10 reasons why I think Yoga is important. The best is that it's so simple to start, just start stretching where you can and build your elasticity withing days of practice.

I have never dried them myself, but in France and Italy you can buy them already dried (at what temperature I don't know). It was awhile since I ate them (before I went raw).
Lost is same insanely good storytelling, character development. I love how they spend time flashing back to show you the character's demons and how the island is bringing them to face what used to be a big thing for them. Plus, you never know what...
