Just curious.... I'm trying to get info on people's experiences with different green powders, so that I can choose one for when I'm traveling/away from home/etc...
I also don't want to spend more than $40, if possible.
Love SBGA from Klamath Lake....I use a powdered form and love it - has a very mild clean taste....notice a huge difference with that over other regular greens (but still use them)
Vitamineral Green is the BEST green combo powder!!! Did you know that a few "others" were formulated based on that one, won't mention names but two top ones - and the VM Green is less expensive. I also use Super Blue Green Algae powder seperately - I take about 2 gms of that/day - Can't live without it.
Nicole, I would recommend checking out Mike Adam's (of NaturalNews.com) review of Green Superfood Powders. In the article, he recommends Earth's Promise for best superfood powder for traveling like you seek to do. Good luck!
When traveling the best thing to do is place your powders in a ziplock baggie...and then put that in another zip lock baggie as to insure the green powders are safe and secure. Keep those in a lead lined bag (purchased at a photo supply store). That way when you go through security or they x-ray your bags the superfoods are not irradiated. With that said, i would like to add that Vitamineral Green is one of the best on the market. This being my own opinion from my own personal experience. I also like Greener Grasses, Spirulina, Chlorella, Blue Green Algae, and Pure Synergy. I have all of these and use Vitamineral Green the most. The Vitamineral Green and the Pure Synergy are the more expensive but also the ones with more ingredients. All in all a wise investment especially if you are traveling. There is nothing more frustrating than traveling somewhere and the nearest organic market is 100 miles away. It is simple to prepare as well, a shaker bottle and some water and powder and voila!!! you have a meal to sustain you for hours plus you know you are getting the most alkalizing nutrient dense whole food green drink. And YOU ARE worth it!!! Happy Trails!!!
Peace!!!
PS: don't forget to bring cacao and goji berries!!! :-)
I really love Vitamineral Green beacuse it has all kinds of greens plus wild-crafted herbs, algaes and a probiotics blend. With this stuff I don't even bother to buy probiotics, so it's really saves me money. I also use Crystal Manna in addition ( you can sneak this into anything!!)
I have been using Nanogreens for the past two years and absolutely love it! its in powder form and has completely changed my body during heavy detoxing
Out of all the Superfood formulas I've tried so far I'd have to say Pure Synergy has been my favorite so far by far. No kidding about them using Kirlian Photography to test Pure Synergy, because I always felt the food had a certain incredible glow to it. Right now I'm using Nature's First Law, but honestly, I can't wait to finish it to go back to Pure Synergy! I would also to try the Vitamineral Green soon as well.
i have tried So Many Green drinks -and there really is only One I can say I feel a Mega boost...
This is something I bought off infowars the alex jjones radio show...I talked to the people who make it and they are really hip...They put TONS of Tonic Herbs in it ....
(I am working on my own formula at the moment)
it is called Shentrition -the only thing i don't like is the stevia..
I have tried quite a few green powders, including the best ones like Vitamineral Green, Synergy, and Boku, among others. But I must say that the number one green powder for me is Greens Plus Wild Berry Burst. Granted - some folks may have reservations about this supplement because it has Soy lecithin, soy sprouts, and rice bran and thus, those are considered cheap fillers. But I must say that this powder gives me more energy, stamina, and well-being than those more expensive ones. I could not stomach at all Vitamineral Green: felt really weird afterwards; same with Synergy. Also, Synergy, Boku, and 3Live have in them blue green algae from Klamath Lake in Oregon: I have read quite a lot about this algae and it can cause liver damage due to certain "cysts" that periodically appear in the algae. So, I stay away from any green supplement that has that algae. Another new discovery are products from Amazing Grass: their Green SuperFood is a great tasting green supplement - probably the best tasting green powder I have tried! I think they could add more green veggies to make it even more complete. Also, Active Greens are good, especially in a smoothe; their green bars are nice, although a bit too sweet for me.
Hey Girl I would just get a supreme quality raw organic spirulina and chlorella powder..mix them with mountain spring water, hemp oil and bang...cost effective and does what the others do for less. Blessed Love, Dodhisattva
Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.
I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...
I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.
Sounds ridiculous to me. Anyone actually older and experiencing longevity there? I doubt it. I live out in the country in the general direction of God's fart zone and perhaps that's better than getting caught up in this sort of materialistic stuff...
hi honey,
we did an experiment in school with ear candles. we set up one with a real person, followed directions perfectly...set up another the same way but instead of putting it in someones ear we just held it against a pillow...both candles had...
