Just curious.... I'm trying to get info on people's experiences with different green powders, so that I can choose one for when I'm traveling/away from home/etc...
I also don't want to spend more than $40, if possible.
I've used InnerBalance Ultragreens and an alkalising pH agent such as the one that Blankita uses, but I've not really felt any discernable differences in my lifestyle because of it. I think that green powders (I almost said powers there) are best for when you're travelling and you have no way of getting to a raw juice. I'm sorry that I can't give more feedback :(
Hi Nicole
I use the INS bioscience wheatgrass powder. I love it! It is grown on pure oxygen, harvested after seven days, both roots and shoots are then cold air dried and made into a very fine powder. You can add it to anything.
4 pak is equal to a flat of wheatgrass.
email me at mom2samnjaz@sbcglobal.net for more info.. the price is very low as I am getting it wholesale and passing it on.

Nicole: There are lot of great green powders out there now. For $34.95 (member price) you can get a great green powder / berry blend from Uri International. It's only $9.95 one time to be a member/rep.
I've used green powders for many many years. I've tried them all, and there are a lot of good green powder products out there. I'm very picky and when I learned of Uri International's organic The Feast (most ingredients are certified organic, the rest are organic, just not 'certified')I was very impressed. I tried it and fell in love with it immediately. It's sweetened with natural berry juice, and stevia, so is almost too sweet for me since I'm used to the blah tasting green powders, and my own VERY green smoothies. But I absolutely love the taste, my kids love the taste and everyone I share it with are loving it too. This is important for folks brand new to healthy eating, green powders, etc.
So for me, it's a perfect marriage of a purely raw food supplement and an easy business that sells itself. The produce is harvested and immediately fresh pressed at 34 degrees into liquid juice, then to powder all in 30 seconds, between 65 to 100 degrees. I'm sure there are other products that do that, but is there an income potential as well. It's nice not having to actually pay for your supplements, instead the company is paying you!
And, yes, I'm a rep for Uri International, and proud to be associated with them. You can read all about them on my blog, under my profile.
Hi Lauren, Sounds great...I did buy into the INS franchise..it is quite a bit more to buy in but I love the product and know that I will be using it..well, forever.
thanks

Pure Synergy, in my humble opinion, is far and away the best. I have sold and tried loads of varieties over the years (I work in a health food shop) but this is the one that makes a significant impact on my health. The first time I took it, I worked through my lunchbreak without noticing although I hadn't eaten before my shift, I started work at 1 and lunch was at 5. I would usually be starving and exhausted at that point! In London, it is gram for gram cheaper than Kiki anyway, if you buy a big jar (I think Kiki is the 2nd best)
They use Kirlian photography as part of the quality control for the production of this product. How cool is that? I don't even take it everyday, don't need to. I keep a jar around for 'first aid'. If I feel sick or tired or have any acidic conditions or fatigue, I take some. One major difference between this and the others is it's adaptogenic qualities. It feels more like a tonic than a green food to me. If that's not what you want I would just mix spirulina with wheatgrass juice powder. That is a cheap option too.
Both vitamineral Green and pure synergy are the best green food super powders but also the most expensive, they are both absolutely nutrient dense, and not full of grass fibre and fillers.
I need to wait until it gets a bit longer, my hair is pretty curly and straightening it is a hassle. At this rate though, I'll be roaming the woods in my nuddy pants in no time.
I would not know what to say when it's my 10 minutes. I like the idea of without interruption though...then I can listen without feeling a need to respond to not make it seem like im not interested when I am
