Hi, i have been reading a bit about cayenne and decided to purchase it today!! I would love to get some advice on how to use it. I heard it is great mixed with raw cacao powder, perhaps in a pudding or smoothie? Anything else? I am anxious to break open the little jar and check it out!!! Thanks!
I would suggest taking at least a tablespoon a day of cayenne. The more you take it, the more you will be able to tolerate it. My first master cleanse started out very light on the cayenne, but now I just dump it in there. It will open up your circulation system too, so drink it with green juice and your superfood smoothies to let everything really get into your system.
Seriously though...take it alot. What everyone said on here was great. Savory dishes, superfood smoothies, spicy lemonade, and cacao dish, you name it. Play around...you get to try this at home!
hehe --- i tend to go a little overboard with the cayenne! i absolutely love it!!! i put it in almost every dish i make, but not smoothies or pudding ~ i've never tried that -- i just ate some sesame broccoli & carrot salad with a little bit of hummus, some braggs liquid amino acids & tons of cayenne--- sprinkled some sunflower seeds and cranberries on top! DELISH!!!
i also carry it with me so if i grab a snack or juice while i'm at the health food store - i can add a little bit!
enjoy!
Aloha! instead of coffee - I start out my mornings with the Master cleanse lemonade - with a nice jolt of cayenne.... gets the blood movin!! and it tastes great!!!
From what I've read, Michelle, the Master cleanse recipe is the juice of half a lemon in a cup of water with a sprinkle of cayenne, (more if you can handle it) I do this in the mornings also, when I'm being good... I notice that when I do it consistently I don't catch whatever is going around... I got the recipe from the Young Living Essential Oils book.
You can use cayenne to add a hot and spicy kick to recipes. I sometimes put a good bash in water with fresh squeezed lemon that I drink in the morning. Hum, spicy chocolate sounds interesting. Have fun experimenting with it.
I haven't tried cayenne in smoothies or juices, but I put it in everything else, especially when I eat avocados. I just dunk it in there. I like a lot so sometimes I put enough to make me cry. Let us know what you tried and what you like.
Hi, so far i've put cayenne in my chocolate pudding...which is avocado, raw cacao powder, half a banana and the cayenne...it really brings out the flavor of the chocolate and it gives the whole thing a nice kick!!! Rande, your funny!!! I actually never tried it in my green juice but thats what i will do next!!!

I put some cayenne in the pesto I made the other day, it gave it a bit of a kick and helped save on salt! :oD I also whack in all my smoothies, but I recently realised that my cayenne is not the 90,000 H.U. type, so I have ordered some of the proper stuff for my upcoming 92-day juice feast! :oD
This is what juicefeasting.com says about cayenne:
In Juice Feasting, 90,000 Heat Unit cayenne pepper is mostly used for making Master Cleanser, a drink discussed in the Intro Section called The Juices. However, you can also put cayenne into your other juices, if you really enjoy it or are looking for the benefits of cayenne. When buying cayenne for the Feast, make sure that the container it is in specificies 90,000 HU, or it probably is not. HU is the measurement of capsaicin in the cayenne, which has been found to be a healing agent for:
On the Juice Feast: Start with about 1/10th of a teaspoon in a quart of Master Cleanser or juice, and work up from there. We have had students use up to a teaspoon in each quart of juice, but this is a lot of cayenne. For more on this great element for cleansing and healing, read the Cayenne File in full on Day 6 of the Juice Feasting Program.

Haha! Probably Charles! I actually bought this dress at the spirit fest because it was on sale and made from 100% organic hemp. The rest of the clothes I brought were pretty grubby. :)
