Hi, i have been reading a bit about cayenne and decided to purchase it today!! I would love to get some advice on how to use it. I heard it is great mixed with raw cacao powder, perhaps in a pudding or smoothie? Anything else? I am anxious to break open the little jar and check it out!!! Thanks!

My use is "sparingly". I like hot, however, I do not like to overpower dishes. I use it in my soups, Arabic salad, and even my ice cream for a little "heat". Also, when I do lemon juice fasts, I will add it to my glasses on lemonade for variations in taste.
Depends on how spicy you are. Stick the itsy bitsy end of your finger in the jar and taste, that ought to help you gauge! Mixed with cacao or chocolate, it is actually an enhancer, so don't add too much or you'll defeat the intended effect. Moreover, just experiment and you'll find it's one of those spices that is heavily contingent upon taste and heat tolerance. I happen to love it, and it's great for medicinal purposes as well.
mmm, i LOVE cayenne! i use it in chocolate, smoothies, salads, anything............... hahaha. great for keeping warm. your tolerance will go up. if you can get the fresh peppers, they are FABULOUS in superfood smoothies. dont rub your eyes after using ;) haha.
i love making tea with it. I make ginger/cayenne, lime/cayenne, garlic/cayenne (especially when i don't feel well), or any combination therein. i find that in the morning lime/cayenne warms me up and energizes me for the day.
I use cayenne a lot. I don't necessary use a lot of it. I'm like one of those people who carry a bottle of tabasco around. Whenever I make something, I add a dash or two of cayenne. You, of course, can use as much or as little as you like. I live in Providence, RI which is buried under a foot of snow (like half the country right now). Cayenne doesn't have much of a taste, but it does have an inner warming quality which I have come to greatly appreciate at this particular time. I always put it in my cacao superfood soothies, my "oatmeal", any pates, etc. According to David Wolfe, it pairs well with cacao because it dilates the capilaries which always the cacao to get into your system faster and/or more effectively so you reap more benefits from the cacao (or something along those lines). I suggest starting out with a dash in a smoothie then keep adding as much as you can tolerate. Hope that helps. Enjoy the spicy side of life!
I use Cayanne quite a bit, really wonderful for digestion great for circulation, I use it to when I detox a pinch in hot water & lomon juice in morning before breakie.
There is a great fruit wholesaler in town, specializing in Local, organic fruit actually.
All I need is a few people, a car and one willing person to go up there with me at some unholy hour (they close at 9am) once a week and it's beautiful fruit ...
Hey, Great pic! Looks refreshing. Also I love the pics of your sprouted coconuts, they look sooo delicious! I watched the video with you eating a sprouted coconut and boy do I want to try it too!..
Hi Persephone. My exper. with Chanca Piedra was very low blood sugar plunge. So unsettling and upsetting, but it's the only herb I've had that reaction too. Also the SPA FOOTBATH did the same thing. Now I research things well before taking or usin...

We're a minority group within a minority group... I figured we needed our own little space to socialize! :) Besides, some of us are single and would like to meet other gay raw cuties! :)
