Give it to me Raw

Were you good and took care of your body today? Had to rush out? So let's hear it, what did you have for breakfast?

I had a juice consisting of red/yellow/orange peppers, apples, carrots and a serrano pepper. I also had a small handful of yumalicious almonds. In typing this I realize that yumalicious is not a word according to spell check. But you know what, my computer can't eat juice, but if it could, it would be like, oh man, you are so totally right! Can I have some "chips" with that? And I would be like, sorry computer, you'll have to wait till the dehydrated ones are done. Um, yea, I'm buzzin. lol

Thank you. Trust me when I say, however, that I have had things come out of my blender that made me wonder why the universe would allow me to even have one :-) It's all trial and error, I guess. This one took a few times for me to perfect it to my taste. Sometimes I even add fresh parsley and dill, but only in moderation... I found out the hard way how much was too much when it comes to some of these herbs!

I like to have my "designer water" I make first thing. I'm having that now. Then if I can a juice and then a smoothie. By that time it's like 2pm! I love it.

I had a half-raw breakfast. The raw part was some broccoli-nut mash with miso gravy (it's supposed to be like raw mashed potatoes, I guess). The cooked part was homemade vegetable soup. Both were very tasty (if not very breakfasty).

I usually have a big bowl of fruit and an 8 oz. glass of banana & nut "milk". But that doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. Hence the soup.

Smoothie made of water/raspberries/cacao powder/cacao nibs/maca/spirulina/bee pollen/cinnamon/cashews/honey and cayenne pepper. Yummmmm.

Juice Juice and then more juice! I'm on day 2 of my juice feast (21-days is the plan). Not sure what all I put into it, but I do feel quite amazing (still miss food though!).

I love my morning smoothies : blueberries/banana/goji berries/bee pollen/maca powder/purple corn powder/cacao powder/home made almond milk/water - takes me up to the middle of the day
